Russia to participate in the development of the housing market in Venezuela

EKATERINBURG, Oct 30, 2019, Pan Pacific Agency. Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities will work out proposals on the participation of the Russian side in the housing construction market of Venezuela, said Vladimir Yakushev, a head of the Ministry, while meeting with his counterpart Ildemaro Moises Villaroel. The meeting took place on the sidelines of World Cities day in Ekaterinburg today, press service of the Russian Ministry told Pan Pacific Agency.

Mr. Villarroel expressed an interest in the participation of Russian organizations in housing building in Venezuela. Currently, Republic has a large housing shortage. As Villaroel explained, in order to implement the national housing program, the Ministry of People’s Power for Housing and Communal Services of Venezuela plans to attract foreign developers, primarily from friendly countries, as Russia.

The parties agreed that Venezuela will send to the Russian side a package of specific proposals and characteristics of the necessary facilities. Vladimir Yakushev instructed the relevant departments to work out proposals on the participation of the Russian side in the housing construction market of Venezuela.

Vladimir Yakushev will make a report on the integrated development of cities and the formation of a new quality of life at the World Cities Day’s plenary meeting on October 31.
