Russian digital travel platform RussPass is expected to test-run in 2020 in Moscow

MOSCOW, Oct 1, 2019, Pan Pacific Agency. In Q1 2020 RussPass, a smart digital travel platform, wich will include the key tourist locations, is expected to test-ru, the press service of the Moscow gov’t told Pan Pacific Agency.

RussPass will make convenient travel routes around Moscow or compile a list of city services and attractions. The ready-made travel package for 3, 5 or 7days with free access to all regional Moscow museums will also include a travel card. When you choose the one of the offered travel’s directions or your own, the RussPass app displays the final route with all locations to visit.

“After the simplified visa procedure is introduced, the visa will be included in the basic travel package. At the airports and partner points, tourists will receive an envelope with a RussPass medium, a travel card, a city map and an information leaflet,” Moscow authorities informed.

The platform can also help plan a trip to St. Petersburg or the Far Eastern Federal district, press service added. From July 2020, the feature set is to be expanded to book hotels and buy air tickets. In 2018, 23.5 million guests visited Moscow.
