Chinese company to built museum, theater and educational center in Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 3, 2021, Pan Pacific Agency. Russian Stroytransgaz JSC, one of the largest construction company in Russia, and KitayStroy LLC, China State Construction Engineering Corporation’s subsidiary, based in Russia, have signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of a project for a museum, theater and educational complex in Vladivostok. The document was signed by companies’ CEOs on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum today, according to the event’s press service.

The cultural and educational complex in Vladivostok is being built at two sites. An educational campus is being built on Russky Island, and a large-scale museum and theater center will be located on the Eagle’s Nest Hill, where branches of the country’s largest museums – the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as a branch of the Mariinsky Theater will operate.

KitayStroy LLC will be a subcontractor at all stages of the construction at the Eagle’s Nest Hill by the end of 2023. According to the project, the total area of ​​the complex is 84,277 square meters. The construction is estimated at 20B rubles.
