Russia to increase personal income tax to 15 per cent for rich peoples: Putin

MOSCOW, Jun 23, 2020, Pan Pacific Agency. Russia to increase personal income tax for salary income over 5 million rubles from current 13% to 15%, Russian leader Vladimir Putin propose during his TV-address to the nation today.

The new tax rate will enter into force on January 1, 2021, Russian leader said. According to him, the money from raising the tax will be used to treat children and purchase medical equipment.
