ST. PETERSBURG, 10 Jun, 2025, Pan Pacific Agency. Issues of the Greater Eurasian Partnership to be discussed at SPIEF-2025. The landmark event will take place June 18-21. Russia’s political and business elite are preparing for the next St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held this year on June 18-21.

This landmark event will pay special attention to the development of the Greater Eurasian Partnership.

– The transformation of the global economic architecture in the context of geopolitical turbulence requires fundamentally new approaches to trade and economic interaction. The Greater Eurasian Partnership is seen as a crucial platform for strengthening integration ties, expanding trade flows and launching joint projects in strategically important sectors,” the organizers say.

The Greater Eurasian Partnership remains one of the priority areas of Russia’s international activities. The development of dialog between the participating countries allows to activate untapped potential, increase the resilience of economies to external challenges and set a vector for long-term growth.

In the context of sanctions pressure on Russia and its partners, deepening economic interaction, intensifying business contacts and expanding cooperation ties within the framework of the Greater Eurasian Partnership, which continues to strengthen domestic trade and investment exchanges, transport and logistics infrastructure and financial mechanisms, is becoming increasingly important.

– Today, the Greater Eurasian Partnership is not just about expanding trade and logistics flows. This is an opportunity for our countries to join forces in a number of sectors and areas of development in a rapidly changing world. Transportation, food security, tourism, IT, finance – the convergence of our markets enables all members of the Greater Eurasian Partnership to protect themselves from risks and guarantee sustainable growth in domestic demand, so necessary today. Our task is to create conditions in which the common efforts of all participants can be translated into concrete initiatives and projects,” said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

Despite temporary difficulties caused by sanctions pressure and changes in logistics chains, interaction within the Greater Eurasian Partnership demonstrates sustainability and prospects. Recent evidence suggests that mutual interest is growing and that fundamental points of convergence between economies remain. There has been an increase in the number of joint initiatives in logistics, digital solutions and industrial cooperation.
