BRICS decade’s outcome to discuss at the Gaidar Forum which held on Jan 15-16 at RANEPA

MOSCOW, Jan 10, 2020, Pan Pacific Agency. A discussion of the outcomes of the BRICS decade will take place at the 11th Gaidar Forum to be held at RANEPA from January 15-16, 2020, press service of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) told Pan Pacific Agency.

The annual Gaidar Forum will once again open the 2020 event calendar as the first major international forum held in Russia, RANEPA’s press service noted. “The scope of relevant topics considered at this platform expands every year. In 2020, experts from around the world will discuss the challenges of the coming decade, including economic development, healthcare, digital initiatives in sports, modern governance, Russian education and business schools, environmental policies and climate issues, the digital revolution and many other issues,” reported on the forum organizer’s site.

The BRICS’ challenges, achievements and development prospects will be discussed by world-class experts, such as are Madeline Koch, Executive Director of the BRICS Research Group and Co-Director of the G20 Research Group at the University of Toronto; John Kirton, Co-Director of the BRICS Research Group and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at China’s Renmin University; Binod Singh Ajatshatru, Director of the BRICS Institute in New Delhi and a well-known public intellectual.

BRICS is an informal group of states comprising the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Russian Federation, the Republic of India, the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of South Africa. The 11th BRICS summit held in Brasilia last year. The 12th summit will be held in Russia’s St. Peterburg in July.
