PHNOM PENH, Oct 14, 2020, Khmer Times. More heavy rain would come across Cambodia this week due to the effects of two tropical storms – Nangka and Saudel, said the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) in an announcement Tuesday, Khmer Times reported.

The ministry thus called on people to keep vigilance of thunder, lightning and gusts. For those living in lowland areas near waterways and the mountainous areas, it added, they must be careful of flash floods from Oct. 18 to 20, while fishermen and seafarers are advised to be vigilant of strong winds and high waves from Oct. 16 to 20.

Between Oct. 14 and 20, the source pointed out, the temperature would vary between 23 and 29 degrees Celsius for the central lowland areas, from 21 to 28 degrees Celsius for the mountainous areas in the north and northeast, and between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas.
