Cambodia to host 27th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ meeting in November

PHNOM PENH, Aug 11, 2021, AKP. Cambodia has scheduled to host the 27th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting on Nov. 10-11, 2021. The information was unveiled during a preparatory meeting for the 27th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Khmer Times reported.

Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, laid stress on a long-term vision of Cambodia when hosting the meeting.

Cambodia, he said, will coordinate the expansion of ASEAN dialogues with partners such as India, Australia, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, and the ASEAN Infrastructure Investment Bank.

A working group of the ministry has been formulated to cooperate with ASEAN Secretariat to host the meeting and dialogues.
