Cinemas spearhead re-opening in Mongolia

ULAANBAATAR, Jul 11, 2020, News.mn. The new Mongolian Cabinet decided to extend the period of advanced emergency readiness for 15 more days until 31 July in order to prevent coronavirus. Advanced emergency readiness was first announced on 27 January and has been extended several times since, News.mn reported.

Nevertheless, all businesses are to re-openstep–by–step over the coming days. From today (10 July), movie theatres in Ulaanbaatar are working again.

Mongolia has 227 confirmed cases of coronavirus; all of which have been imported. In other words, the country of three million has no local transmission of the virus.
