Mongolia’s quarantine period extends till July 15

ULAANBAATAR, Jul 1, 2020, GoGo. State Emergency Committee meeting was held yesterday and made decision to extend the quarantine period of Covid-19 until July 15. Borders of Mongolia won’t be opened during this period, GoGo reported.

Governors of provinces and districts have been authorized to open some public services step by step starting from July 1.

Therefore, children’s playgrounds, training centers, camps, cinemas, entertainment centers, theaters, ensembles, restaurants, pubs, karaoke can be open if they meet the infection protection requirements. This action will activate 10,000 jobs of 960 companies in Ulaanbaatar.

Night clubs and computer game centers will stay closed. And public sport activities are banned during the quarantine period.

Furthermore, the decision to bring over 700 citizens from neighbour countries through Zamiin-Uud and Altanbulag borders. 10-12 charter flights are planned in July.
