Queensland premier declares Sydney suburb of Fairfield a coronavirus hotspot
SYDNEY, Jul 23, 2020, 9News. The suburb of Fairfield in Sydney’s western suburbs has been declared a hotspot by Queensland Premier Annastacia Palasczczuk, 9News reported.
Ms Palaszczuk tweeted the decision, saying 46 cases had been identified in connection to the Thai Rock restaurant outbreak which prompted her to close the border.
The directive takes effect from 1am Monday, July 27.
