Government ratifies Peru-Australia free trade agreement

LIMA, Feb 23, 2019, ANDINA. The Peruvian Executive Branch on Friday ratified the Peru-Australia Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed on February 12, 2018, in Canberra, reported the ANDINA.

According to a Supreme Decree, the Foreign Affairs Ministry will publish —in El Peruano official gazette— the accord’s full text, as well as the date on which it will come into effect.

Likewise, the document indicates it is convenient for the Inca country’s interests to ratify the FTA with Australia.
