BEIJING, Nov 28, 2019, INP. There is no comparison of United States with China on a moral level, said a spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang here on Wednesday at a regular news briefing. He was commenting on a statement issued by the US Ambassador to Germany that says, China and the United States cannot be compared morally, Independent News Pakistan reported.

Elaborating the moral values, China kept high over the years, he said, in the family of the international community, China has always maintained peace, promoted development, adhered to moral principles, and joined hands with other countries to build a community of shared future for mankind.

What about the United States? To harm others and to benefit oneself. China, he added, has always been the builder of world peace. China adheres to the path of peaceful development and actively contributes wisdom to maintaining world peace and stability.

By the end of last year, China had dispatched nearly 40,000 UN peacekeepers, becoming the country with the largest number of peacekeepers in the Security Council’s five standings.

In international relations, China adheres to the principle of mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs, promotes the parties to resolve hot issues such as the Korean Peninsula, the Iranian nuclear issue, Afghanistan, through dialogue and negotiation, and actively plays a constructive role, which has increasingly become a world peace and stability anchor and source of faith.

In contrast, the United States can be described as the turbulent producer of the world. The flames of war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and other countries have left the local people with irreparable pain.

More-over, China has always been a contributor to global development. China persists in opening up to the outside world, is mutually beneficial and win-win, and shares China’s development opportunities with the world.

China firmly maintains the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization as its core and is committed to building an open world economy.

As the world’s second largest economy, China’s contribution to global GDP growth has been as high as 34% for 10 consecutive years. Over the past 70 years, China has provided nearly 400 billion yuan in aid to 166 countries and international organizations, providing assistance to more than 120 developing countries within its capacity.

In the six years since the Belt and Road Initiative was launched, it has gained high recognition and positive response from the international community, and achieved a large number of early gains. It has become the world’s most popular public product and the largest economic cooperation platform.

In contrast, the United States is a manipulator of bullying. Adhere to “America first” everywhere, just want to take advantage of other countries. In trade with other countries, tariffs are levied if there is no agreement. In the international financial system, the monopoly of the US dollar has been abused, and unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction have been imposed on other countries.

It also used state power to fabricate “unnecessary” charges to suppress specific countries and specific enterprises. The United States is reluctant to invest, but it does everything to interfere with and undermine cooperation between China and other countries.

Besides this, China has always been a defender of the international order. China holds high the banner of multilateralism, firmly maintains the international system with the United Nations as the core and the international order based on international law, and promotes the building of a community of shared future for mankind.

China actively promotes the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. During the G20 Hangzhou Summit, development issues were incorporated into the global macro-policy coordination framework for the first time, which received unanimous praise and praise from developing countries.

In contrast, the United States is a spoiler of global governance.

Since 2017, the United States has shied away from its responsibilities and obligations and withdrew from UNESCO, the United Nations Human Rights Council, the Paris Agreement, the Iran Nuclear Accord, and the China-Israel Treaty.

Human rights violations in the United States are common and serious, but they make remarks about the human rights situation in other countries, and they are not parties to important human rights conventions such as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, he added.
