China’s Jilin province increases in confirmed coronavirus cases

JILIN, May 19, 2020, China Daily. Jilin city of Jilin province reported five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Monday to 1 am on Tuesday, bringing the total number of locally confirmed cases in the city to 39 since May 7, when the first case in a COVID-19 cluster was detected, China Daily reported.

Of the five new cases, one was in Shulan and the rest were in Jilin’s Fengman district, according to a press release from the city government on Tuesday.

As of Monday, Jilin province had reported 19 imported cases, but all patients have recovered and were discharged from the hospital.
