Saudi crown prince to start official visit to Pakistan, China, India

RIYADH, Feb 18, 2019, Xinhua. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will start on Sunday an official Asian tour, Sabq local online news reported, according to the Xinhua.

The visit, including Pakistan, China and India, will be the first of this year and comes after a regional tour to some Arab countries in November 2018.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced that the Saudi crown prince will meet the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and several senior officials, and will sign memorandums of understanding related to finance, energy, renewable energy, homeland security, media, culture and sports.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced that the Saudi crown prince will visit China on Wednesday, highlighting that the visit will deepen cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) proposed by China.

He will also visit India for the first time next week and will sign various agreements.
