Peru expresses solidarity with China govt due to coronavirus spread

LIMA, Feb 11, 2020, ANDINA. The Government of Peru has expressed its solidarity with the Government and citizens of the People’s Republic of China following the efforts they are undertaking to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

In an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Peruvian Government expressed its deepest condolences to the relatives of the victims hit by this new virus and hopes for the speedy recovery of the affected people.

It also reiterated its support and commitment to the People’s Republic of China to act in a coordinated manner in the face of this adverse circumstance.

The number of deaths in China from the Coronavirus epidemic exceeded 1,000 after the announcement of 103 new deaths in Hubei Province.
