BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jun 18, 2020, Borneo Bulletin. Foreign workers in the oil and gas industry who are required to enter Brunei Darussalam must carry out their swab test both in their country and upon arriving in Brunei Darussalam, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Borneo Bulletin reported.

The swab test is part of the improvement required by the Ministry of Energy to assess their health condition before their arrival into the country, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said at the daily press conference yesterday.

“In that way, we are sure after the quarantine and two swabbing tests, Insya Allah there will be no COVID-19. They will need to carry out the test at least 48 hours before they fly in,” said the minister.
