Man arrested with 1.2 million worth heroin in Sri Lanka
COLOMBO, Jan 7, 2019, Daily News. A suspect, who possessed with 1kg 5g of heroin, was taken into custody in Kotahena by a team of police officers attached to the Kotahena Street Police yesterday, reported the Daily News.
The suspect and the heroin were handed over to the Kotahena Police by the Officers.
The suspect, 40-years-old, is a resident of Colombo-12. He was to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Courts today by officers attached to the Kotahena Police Station.
Police said the total amount of the heroin comes to about Rs. 1.2 million.
