Russia will play one of the key roles in digital ecosystem’s building: Former deputy PM Arkady Dvorkovich

MOSCOW, Oct 9, 2019, Pan Pacific Agency. Press service of the Russian Open Innovations Forum realeased a details of the event’s business program. According to the message, forum’s first day (October 21) will be dedicated to Digital Human, second day (October 22) – to Intelligent Economy, third day (October 23) – to Futuretech. The Open Innovations will traditionally be attended by world’s leading experts, businessmen, scientists, students, representatives of authorities and global corporations. Event will be held for the eighth time in Russia, reported the Pan Pacific Agency.

On the first Open Innovations’ day “forum participants will form a request for ecosystem, the implementation of which will be the basis for digital nation development (Nation 5.0). The humans are evolving themselves under the influence of rapidly changing technologies. Connectivity, a new level of horizontal connections between people, groups, communities around the world, becomes the catalyst for this process,” the press service of the event told.

“Those countries will win the competition race, which put a human, not capital, first. They will take the leading positions on the global market. Multipolarity and magnitude of challenges the states are facing require the international community to joint efforts for creating a digital space of trust and safety, knowledge, technology and expertise exchange. The main task is to create a digital ecosystem for people of tomorrow. I am positive that Russia will play one of the key roles in achieving this goal,” Arkady Dvorkovich, Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation, said.

Hi-tech solutions created by Russian startups with the support of development institutes will be displayed at the exposition, press service of the Open Innovations Forun added. The Forum will host the Russian-South Korean Forum for Information and Computer Technologies (with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russia), the fourth Congress of Innovative Infrastructure Organizations (with the support of the Federal Corporation for Supporting Small and Medium Entrepreneurship) and meeting of the Russian-French IT task force. The finals of the Innovations in Education (KIvO) Competition and International EASTBOUND Project Contest, the official ceremony of the GREEN MOBILITY AWARD 2019 and presentation of the Moscow Innovation Cluster (with the support of the Government of Moscow) will be conducted.

Earlier Pan Pacific Agency informed, that Russian technological companies will present projects to large investors and businessmen at the Open Innovations Forum. Pitch sessions for startups from Russia will be attended by investors from S. Korea, Singapore and Japan. “At least five investors from the Asia-Pacific region with a capital of $100 million to $1 billion are expected to act as a jury,” said on the competition’s official website EASTBOUND.
