Russia announced the registration of the world’s first Covid-19 vaccine

MOSCOW, Aug 11, 2020, Pan Pacific Agency. President Vladimir Putin announced the registration of the world’s first vaccine against Covid-19 today. According to him, the vaccine is effective and forms a stable immunity.

“This morning, for the first time in the world, a vaccine against coronavirus was registered,” said Mr Putin.

Vaccination against coronavirus in Russia should be carried out exclusively voluntarily, the president stressed. The vaccine will go into circulation on January 1, 2021.
