Russia’s minister and his deputy contracted the coronavirus after the PM was positively diagnosed

MOSCOW, May 1, 2020, Interfax. Russian minister of construction industry, housing and utilities sector Vladimir Yakushev and his deputy Dmitry Volkov contracted the coronavirus. The minister is hospitalized, the press service of the ministry told Interfax.

Mr. Yakushev said he to undergo treatment under the supervision of doctors in one of the city hospitals and will stay in touch.

Nikita Stasishin is appointed the interim minister.
