Uzbekistan begins exporting peanut to China

TASHKENT, Jun 23, 2020, Dunyo Agency. Uzbekistan has started export of peanuts to China, Dunyo news agency reported, accorfing to the AKI Press.

Peanuts are exported under a $1 million contract signed between Global Export Company and China’s biggest distribution company.

China is the world’s biggest producer and importer of peanuts. It mainly imports peanuts from Senegal, Ethiopia, Sudan, India, United States. Uzbekistan joined this list now.

Uzbekistan also exports sweet cherries, melons, peppers, pomegranates, sesame seeds, raisins, dried apricots, walnuts, honey to China.
