Russian deputy foreign minister to visit Pyongyang next week: embassy

MOSCOW, Aug 7, 2019, TASS. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov is due to pay a visit to Pyongyang next week to hold consultations, North Korea’s Embassy in Moscow told TASS on Wednesday.

“Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Morgulov is due to depart for Pyongyang next week to hold meetings with his counterparts,” a spokesperson said.

North Korea has recently carried out several missile tests. According to the Yonhap news agency, the latest tests of the country’s new type of tactical guided missiles were conducted on August 6 as observed by the head of state, Kim Jong-un. Earlier, North Korea had tested multiple artillery rocket systems.
