At least 42 people dead in flash floods in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Mar 17, 2019, TASS. Flash floods in Indonesia’s Papua province have killed at least 42 people, Reuters reported on Sunday citing a local disaster agency official, reported the TASS News Agency.

At least 21 people were injured in the floods, the official said.

Torrential rain started near the provincial capital Jayapura on Saturday, triggering flash floods in the area.
