Asian region has increased milk production by 62% for 12 years

NURSULTAN, Apr 20, 2019, The DairyNews. At the conference “Productive longevity of cows 7.0” in Nursultan (Kazakhstan) Director of the Russian Dairy Research Center Mikhail Mishchenko said that the Asian region shows the largest growth in milk production, reported The DairyNews.
According to IDF, milk production in the world in 2017 amounted to more than 700 million tons.
“The most dynamic development over the past 12 years has been observed in Asia, – said Mikhail Mishchenko. – In 2005 Asia produced 131 million tons, in 2017 the volume of milk production increased to 211.8 million tons. The fastest growth in Asia is shown by India”.
