China sends medical team to Pakistan

BEIJING, Mar 28, 2020, Xinhua. China has sent a team of medical experts to Pakistan to help the country fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang announced Saturday, Xinhua reported.

The team, organized by the National Health Commission, consists of experts selected by the health commission of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Geng said in a press statement.

The team left for Pakistan on Saturday afternoon, he said.
