Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand among recipients of medical kits from Jack Ma

BANGKOK, Mar 20, 2020, The Nation. The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation are jointly donating 2 million face masks, 150,000 test kits, 20,000 sets of protective gear and 20,000 face shields for Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, The Nation reported.

The foundation pledged additional support to other countries in Asia in the fight against Covid-19. “We join hands with our Asian neighbours to fight Covid-19,” said the Jack Ma Foundation while announcing the donation to the four countries. In the previous week, 500,000 test kits and 1 million masks were delivered to the US., 100,000 test kits and 1 million masks to Italy, 300,000 medical masks to Belgium, and 500,000 masks for Spain.
