Peruvian PM Cesar Villanueva resigns

LIMA, Mar 9, 2019, ANDINA. Prime Minister of Peru Cesar Villanueva has stepped down from his post, Peruvian Government confirmed on Friday afternoon, reported the ANDINA.

According to a statement, Villanueva submitted his letter of resignation to President Martin Vizcarra.

Likewise, the Head of State thanked the ex-cabinet chief for his work —during his tenure— pursuing State policies for the benefit of the Inca country’s development.

As is known, Cesar Villanueva was sworn in as Prime Minister in April 2018.
