International Conference Arctic 2020

On February 19-20, 2020, the V International Conference “The Arctic: Offshore Projects and Sustainable Development of Regions” (Arctic 2020) will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (Moscow). The Arctic 2020 Conference is held by the «System Consulting» company and the «Regional Energy and Energy Conservation» magazine in cooperation with the CCI Russia, the Russian State University of Oil and Gas n.a. I.M. Gubkin and the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Zone.

The event traditionally attracts representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, major Russian and foreign oil and gas producing and service companies, equipment manufacturers, leading research centers and media interested in issues of production, field development, including in the Arctic zone.

The 2020 conference will bring together more than 400 people, including specialists from various regions of Russia, as well as from Poland, Turkey, China, South Korea, Azerbaijan, and Austria. The event will be covered by about 100 representatives of leading federal and industry media.

The International Conference is devoted to current issues of developing the resource potential of the Arctic zone; the role of the Arctic in meeting global demand for energy resources; legislative support for offshore projects; LNG, transport and service infrastructure; industrial and environmental safety; international cooperation; energy security of the Far North and the Far East regions; digitalization of the EAEU economy; the use of robotic and unmanned technologies in the Arctic; social Flax responsibility to create decent conditions of work and life in the North and the Far East.

The conference is traditionally attended by representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, as well as organizations.

Summarized proposals of all the participants will be approved into a resolution at the end of the Conference. The final resolution will be sent to the relevant ministries and institutions, as well as to the interested organizations.
